Social Enterprise in Schools
Start Their Social Enterprise Journey Early
At iSE we understand that early intervention is important when promoting social value. We work with schools to deliver child-led social enterprise development, empowering young people to become change-makers.
Hands-on experience
This initiative provides students with hands-on experience in developing and managing projects that address community issues, fostering a sense of social responsibility and innovative thinking. By collaborating with experienced social entrepreneurs, schools can offer mentorship and practical insights, enhancing students’ problem-solving and leadership skills but also cultivates a generation that values social impact and sustainability in their professional and personal lives.
Below are some of the programmes we run as well as bespoke initiatives.
01
Social Enterprise Assembly
An introduction to students on social entrepreneurship through inspiring stories and examples, motivating them to create ventures that address community issues and drive positive change.
Vivid stories shared about social impact changemakers doing great things in their area, that would welcome showing young minds how they could make a difference to the world around them and beyond.
02
Social Enterprise Day
A full day in school guiding children to develop a social enterprise idea involves interactive workshops, brainstorming sessions, and planning. Students identify community issues, create innovative solutions, and design business plans, fostering teamwork, creativity, and social responsibility. The day concludes with presentations, celebrating their entrepreneurial spirit and impact-driven ideas.
03
SE Schools Competition
Inviting schools to enter student teams to create innovative social enterprises. Teams identify local issues, develop sustainable business solutions, and present their plans to a panel of judges.
This challenge fosters creativity, collaboration, and social responsibility, with winning ideas receiving support for real-world implementation and community impact.
